Hana Bank is partnering with ERP software specialist SAP to build a cloud-based banking solution and explore various new business opportunities.
Hana Bank announced on the 19th that it has signed a business agreement with SAP Korea on this matter. The purpose is to proactively respond to the rapidly changing ERP market, strengthen cooperation by linking the solutions of both companies, and discover new businesses.
Accordingly, the two companies plan to pursue ▲ building an SAP cloud-based banking solution ▲ global financial business cooperation targeting companies seeking overseas expansion and business opportunity growth ▲ supply chain finance business cooperation using the SAP ARIBA network ▲ joint marketing targeting companies using SAP ERP and transitioning to the cloud.
Sung Young-soo, Vice President of Hana Bank’s Corporate Group, said, "We are now able to introduce next-generation financial services that combine Hana Bank’s financial expertise with SAP Korea’s solution know-how," adding, "We will lead digital innovation in the financial industry through continuous digital transformation efforts."
Shin Eun-young, CEO of SAP Korea, said, "Digital innovation is not a choice but a necessity for companies to survive in a rapidly changing market," and added, "Starting with Hana Bank, we will spare no effort to support collaboration with more companies and lead digital innovation across industries."
