Convenience store GS25 announced on the 14th that it is expanding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in product package design and promotional videos.

The packages of recently launched products such as 'Simply Cook Spoonable Taco' and 'Seasonal Young Radish Salad' were designed by AI. When text describing the product features and related image files are input into an AI generation program, the package design is automatically completed.
GS25 is also adding fun by uploading AI-created promotional videos related to products on its Instagram through this process. Later this month, they plan to launch two types of Simply Cook Curry and Morning Glory Salad with AI-designed packaging, and will continue to release products using AI technology more than twice a month.
GS25 explained that it is utilizing various AI technologies to target the MZ generation, who seek affinity and fun in design. Last year, they produced non-fungible tokens (NFTs) based on AI, and this year, they are presenting short-form video content using ChatGPT.
