Samsung Electronics Unveils New Washing Machine Supporting Drying at IFA

25kg Washing Machine and 13kg Dryer Combo Model

Samsung Electronics announced on the 30th that it will unveil a new product capable of both washing and drying with a single machine at 'IFA 2023,' Europe's largest home appliance exhibition, held in Berlin, Germany from the 1st to the 5th of next month.

The new product features a combined washing machine with a 25kg capacity and a dryer with a 13kg capacity in one unit. It is convenient to use as there is no need to transfer laundry to the dryer after washing. It can be installed in a small laundry room, maximizing space utilization.

Through the EcoBubble function, detergent bubbles dissolved in water penetrate between fibers to wash clothes thoroughly. By applying a high-efficiency large-capacity digital inverter heat pump, it achieves fast and fluffy drying performance comparable to the 'Bespoke Grande Dryer AI (Artificial Intelligence)'.

Additionally, the newly applied 7-inch wide touch LCD supports touch operation, enhancing the user experience. The large LCD not only preserves the minimal design of the product front but also displays various washing and drying course information on a large screen, improving the convenience of course selection and function usage.

It is also characterized by applying the core functions of Samsung Electronics' flagship Bespoke Grande AI washing machine and dryer. Features such as 'AI Detergent Auto Dispensing,' which learns the degree of laundry contamination and dispenses detergent according to weight and contamination, and 'AI Customized Washing and Drying,' which detects laundry weight, type, and contamination to provide tailored washing and drying, can all be used.

Lee Jun-hwa, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Home Appliance Business Division, said, "This is a useful product that improves the inconvenience of consumers transferring laundry to the dryer and also enables energy savings," adding, "We will continue to introduce a variety of products that carefully reflect consumer demands."
