[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Dooyul] Busan local company Daesun Joojo is renewing and launching C1 Blue as a 16.5-degree unsweetened soju.
The renewed C1 Blue maintains the original flavor of the 18-degree original C1 Blue while lowering the alcohol content to 16.5 degrees for a lighter enjoyment.
Daesun Joojo also stated that the taste has deepened by aging it using their patented acoustic vibration aging method (Patent No. 10-0799373).
The acoustic vibration aging method is Daesun Joojo’s unique technique that uses the acoustic vibration wavelengths of classical music to make water molecules smaller and maximize bonding with alcohol molecules during aging.
C1 Blue lowers calories to 90 kcal per 100 ml by removing fructose, which is quickly absorbed by the body, and instead using the plant-based sweetener tomatine and almost calorie-free erythritol.
C1 Blue also uses purified water that has undergone a five-stage water treatment process, utilizing palm charcoal and bamboo charcoal during the purification process.
The bottle design uses a sleek transparent bottle with a bluish tint.
Daesun Joojo CEO Jo Woohyun said, “We have launched C1 Blue, which has been with many people’s precious memories, in a new form,” and added, “With the release of the renewed C1 Blue, we will bring a fresh breeze to the liquor market.”
C1 Blue was launched from 2014 to 2016 and won the silver award at the Monde Selection, one of the world’s top three liquor competitions, and the grand prize at the Korea Liquor Awards.
