[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Lee Eunhae (31, female), who was indicted for the 'valley murder' case, was sentenced to life imprisonment.

The 15th Criminal Division of the Incheon District Court (Chief Judge Lee Gyuhun) sentenced Lee, who was charged with murder and attempted murder, to life imprisonment, and her accomplice Jo Hyunsoo (30, male) to 30 years in prison at the first trial sentencing hearing held on the 27th.

However, the court ruled that this case was not a direct (commission) murder by gaslighting (psychological control), but an indirect (omission) murder by deliberately not rescuing the victim who fell into the water after diving.
