[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Naver announced on the 25th that it has completed the introduction of the ‘Whale Space’ platform in collaboration with 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide.

Whale Space is a platform that gathers and provides various services necessary for classes within the Whale browser. Users can access the online learning environment anytime and anywhere with just one Whale account. Teachers can organically utilize ▲class management solutions for efficient organization ▲educational solutions to improve the quality of lessons ▲functions to block unnecessary apps and websites to create an optimized classroom environment for students.

Whale Space was introduced to 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide about 1 year and 6 months after its launch. It is explained that all schools and educational institutions can experience future-oriented education by using Whale Space as needed.

Naver plans to expand the connectivity between Whale Spaces so that each educational site can easily exchange data. In particular, it aims to enhance the convenience of managing user data through the integrated Whale Space account. When advancing to a higher-level school, user information or learning history can be transmitted directly to the relevant educational institution with just one integrated Whale Space account without linking each piece of data individually.

Kim Hyo, Naver Whale’s lead manager, said, “Now that Whale Space has been introduced to metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide, we expect educational institutions to actively implement educational policies on Whale Space by leveraging their unique characteristics.”
