LG Electronics announced that it will collaborate with the wine curation platform ‘Wicked Wife’ until the 12th of next month to celebrate the launch of the new LG DIOS Objet Collection wine cellar.
During the collaboration period, visitors to Wicked Wife Grocery Store or Dining Bar located in Seongsu-dong can see and experience the new LG DIOS Objet Collection wine cellar firsthand. Every Friday and Saturday, an event will be held where visitors can compare and taste wines stored in the LG DIOS Objet Collection wine cellar with wines that are not cellar-stored. Additionally, customers who verify their visit to the Wicked Wife pop-up store on Instagram will receive a limited edition wine glass designed by Wicked Wife, given daily on a first-come, first-served basis.
The new large-capacity model available at Wicked Wife applies a semiconductor thermoelectric cooling method that absorbs surrounding heat without mechanical movement, reducing vibration and noise while maintaining consistent wine flavor. The internal temperature can be finely adjusted in 1℃ increments, and the upper and lower compartments can be set to different temperatures depending on the type of wine. It also features a multi-glass door with excellent UV protection and insulation performance, effectively protecting wines sensitive to light and temperature.
When linked with the LG ThinQ app, storage and management become much easier. Users can immediately check the types, quantities, and storage durations of wines currently stored, and can also write tasting notes. Furthermore, in partnership with the global wine site ‘Wine-Searcher,’ which holds about 13 million records, users can easily check wine information by scanning the front label of the wine.
The new product, released in five models ranging from 8-bottle to 121-bottle capacity, features various colors carefully selected by experts, including Crystal Forest Green, Crystal Beige, and Crystal Pink, and is available through various online and offline channels such as the Online Brand Shop (OBS).
