CJ Logistics-Naver Strengthen 'Logistics Alliance'... "Faster Delivery Collaboration"

CJ Logistics announced on the 11th that it will enhance its fulfillment services by speeding up cooperation with Naver. Following the existing fulfillment centers in Gonjiam, Yongin, and Gunpo, CJ Logistics opened centers in Namsa and Yeoju this year. It plans to secure additional centers mainly in the metropolitan area in the future. Fulfillment is a service that integrates the entire complex logistics process such as joint storage, inventory management, packaging, and delivery by hosting various sellers' products in the center.

Based on the fulfillment centers, CJ Logistics plans to stably provide Naver's 'Naeildochak' (Next Day Arrival) service to increase synergy between the two companies. The 'Naeildochak' service is a delivery cooperation model where products ordered by 24:00 are delivered to customers the next day. Compared to the general courier service where customers must order by 15:00 for next-day delivery, sellers benefit from extended daily sales hours, and customers enjoy shorter delivery times. According to Naver, as of last month, the volume of 'Naeildochak' shipments increased approximately 2.4 times compared to June last year when the service was fully expanded. The number of brands using this service currently stands at 137, which is more than 3.9 times higher than the same period last year.

The two companies plan to expand the product categories and brands for 'Naeildochak' through close cooperation. Accordingly, they expect the shipment volume by the end of this year to increase more than 3.5 times compared to the previous year. Additionally, since the 2nd of this month, they have started beta testing 'Same-Day Delivery' focused on categories such as childcare and daily necessities, where orders placed by 10:00 AM are delivered on the same day. In the second half of the year, they also plan to test early morning delivery.

CJ Logistics will continue to actively cooperate with Naver to further advance existing fulfillment services and secure new sellers.
