LG Electronics Unveils Korea's Largest Capacity 25kg Tromm Washing Machine

Launch of 9 New 25kg Products Including the Objet Collection Lineup

LG Electronics will sequentially launch a new LG Tromm washing machine model with the largest capacity for home use in Korea, capable of washing bulky blankets and large amounts of laundry at once, with a capacity of 25 kilograms (kg), starting from the second week of this month. A model is showcasing the new LG Tromm washing machine with a 25kg capacity.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] LG Electronics announced on the 1st that it will launch a new LG Tromm washing machine with the largest domestic household washing capacity of 25kg, capable of washing bulky blankets and large amounts of laundry at once.

LG Electronics will sequentially introduce a total of nine new 25kg capacity models, including the LG Objet Collection lineup of space interior appliances, starting from the second week of this month. Customers can choose new models equipped with TrueSteam or automatic detergent dispensing functions according to their needs.

This new product is an UP appliance that can add new functions through continuous upgrades. Customers can add new features such as the pet care course and laundry care after washing completion through the ‘UP Appliance Center’ in the LG ThinQ app.

The new model inherits the differentiated advantages of the LG Tromm washing machine. It applies the TrueSteam function, which sprays steam made by boiling water onto laundry to effectively sterilize, deodorize, and reduce wrinkles in fabrics, and uses artificial intelligence to recognize fabric types by weight and wash with the optimal motion among LG Electronics’ unique 6-motion washing methods, reducing fabric damage with AI DD (Direct Drive) technology.

LG Electronics applied the ‘Automatic Detergent Drawer Plus’ function to the Objet Collection washing machine launched this time, which detects the weight and degree of contamination of laundry and automatically dispenses the appropriate amount of detergent. The new model is equipped with an automatic water spray that always cleans around the detergent drawer after detergent and fabric softener are dispensed.

The new product prices based on shipment are 1.85 million to 2 million KRW for nine washing machine models and 3.74 million to 4.04 million KRW for ten WashTower models. LG Electronics plans to release ten Objet Collection WashTower models equipped with 25kg capacity washing machines by the end of this month.
