[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Electric vehicle brand Polestar announced on the 19th that it will participate in the '9th International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE)' held at Jeju International Convention Center from May 3 to 6.
Polestar Korea plans to convey the charm and value of the Polestar 2 through test drives to interested customers in Jeju, which has the highest electric vehicle adoption rate in Korea, as well as to visitors of the International Electric Vehicle Expo.
Test drives can be applied for on-site or reserved in advance through the website. For pre-booked test drives, a Polestar Specialist will accompany the customer to provide a deeper vehicle experience. Customers who complete the test drive will receive a Polestar eco bag made from eco-friendly materials.
The Polestar 2 features Scandinavian minimal design, luxurious vegan interior, the first-ever application of the T-map infotainment system in an electric vehicle, and has been certified for safety with the highest overall rating in the Euro NCAP electric vehicle category. Additionally, with an attractive starting price of 54.9 million KRW and excellent product qualities, it was recently selected as the 'Electric Sedan of the Year' at the 'EV Awards 2022' hosted by the Ministry of Environment.
Meanwhile, the International Electric Vehicle Expo, now in its 9th year, is a global expo with participation from 50 countries worldwide and has received international exhibition certification for six consecutive years. It will be held for four days from May 3 at the Jeju International Convention Center and the Jungmun Tourist Complex area. Various themed conferences, test drives, and experience events will be held, including a virtual exhibition.
