Coupang Selects Most Loved Beauty Products of the Year... "Special Discounts Available Until the 24th"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Coupang is hosting the '2021 Coupang Beauty Awards,' gathering this year's best beauty products in one place until the 24th.

The 2021 Coupang Beauty Awards is a year-end event that selects and introduces the most loved beauty products of the year by category. The award products were selected using profiling data from 17 million customers and over 30 million monthly beauty search queries.

Coupang selected a total of 72 products across 24 categories, including Best, Rising Star, and Beauty Lab’s Pick. Some of the award-winning products will be offered at limited-time special prices for five days per phase in two phases exclusively for Coupang WOW Membership members.

The first limited-time special price period, running until the 19th, features 39 products across five categories: skincare, men's cosmetics, beauty accessories, hair, and body. The second period, from the 20th to the 24th, offers 33 products in three categories: makeup, perfume, and nails.

Coupang WOW Membership members can enjoy shopping at limited-time special prices during the awards period and will also receive discount coupons. The coupons will be distributed in two phases: from the 15th to the 20th for the first phase, and from the 20th to the 25th for the second phase, providing a 5,000 KRW discount on purchases over 20,000 KRW.

A Coupang representative said, "The '2021 Beauty Awards,' selected based on big data, allows customers to experience the rapidly growing online beauty trends alongside social distancing."
