[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Bodyfriend (CEO Park Sang-hyun) announced on the 12th that its brand sound "The Time to be Noble" was selected as a Winner of the Asia Brand Prize.


The Asia Brand Prize is an award that selects the most valuable brands in Asia and calls for design works from designers worldwide. This year, the renowned designer Takahashi Yoshimaru, a professor at Osaka University of Arts in Japan, served as the head judge, and 18 judges from 5 countries around the world conducted the evaluation.


The winning work, Bodyfriend's brand sound, was created through an industry-academic cooperation project with the Interaction Design Lab of the Smart Experience Design Department at Kookmin University Graduate School of Techno Design. Professor Namgung Ki-chan of Kookmin University Sound Experience Design Institute participated as the head designer, and top domestic sound designers including Professor Lee Woong of Kyung Hee University's Postmodern Music Department and sound director Jeon Soo-min collaborated on the project.


Professor Namgung Ki-chan said, "The two 'La' notes composed in the octave of the completed sound symbolize Bodyfriend's visual logo, and the overall sound tone represents the noble time dedicated to the health of users of massage chairs." He added, "Through the brand sound embodying the identity of the healthcare group Bodyfriend, we hope people can feel the values that Bodyfriend pursues."
