[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] SHINSEGAE CASA's flagship brand 'casamia' announced on the 31st the launch of a new online-exclusive product in its best-selling sofa series, 'Campo Basic.'


The Campo series is casamia's representative best-selling sofa, accounting for 30% of total casamia sofa category sales, demonstrating its immense popularity. To date, approximately 45,000 units have been sold, and there are over 1,600 Instagram posts tagged with the keyword 'Campo sofa,' reflecting continued positive reviews.


Campo Basic maintains the distinctive features of the Campo series while lowering the price point to increase accessibility for younger customers, including the millennial generation. Additionally, considering their consumption patterns and lifestyles, it is offered exclusively through online sales channels.


The armrest thickness has been widened, and the backrest raised to enhance comfort when leaning back or lying sideways. The filling material in the seat cushion has a higher proportion of hollow fiber, achieving a medium firmness that is both soft and supportive. It also features improved resilience, ensuring it remains plump and does not sag even after extended use.


It uses water-repellent fabric made with the unique technology of the global textile brand, Portugal's Elastron, which slows liquid absorption to keep it clean at all times. The cover is detachable for easy washing and maintenance. The sofa is available in two colors: ivory and gray.


The product is exclusively available on SHINSEGAE CASA's lifestyle-focused online platform, Good.com, where pre-orders are currently underway. The gray color version is being sold as a limited edition to commemorate the launch.
