[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Maeil Dairies' organic and eco-friendly food brand Sangha Farm announced on the 20th the launch of two new types of low-temperature pasteurized antibiotic-free certified milk.

The two types of Sangha Farm low-temperature pasteurized antibiotic-free certified milk are characterized by containing 100% antibiotic-free certified raw milk carefully selected by Sangha Farm. The milk is made from 100% raw milk collected from strictly managed antibiotic-free certified farms, allowing consumers to enjoy it with greater confidence. The collected raw milk undergoes microfiltration to block 99.9% of harmful microorganisms and is pasteurized at a low temperature of 63°C for 30 minutes to preserve its original taste and nutrition with minimal protein denaturation.

Another feature is the use of paper-based Fresh Pack packaging, considering its environmental impact. This is part of Maeil Dairies' efforts to reduce plastic usage, applying Fresh Pack certified by the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) instead of PET. Through this, Maeil Dairies estimates it can reduce plastic usage by approximately 147 tons annually.

The new products are available in two types?original and low-fat?based on fat content, and can be purchased at large discount stores, corporate supermarkets, and individual supermarkets.
