[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] The American canned cocktail brand ‘Cutwater’ has landed in Korea.
OB Beer announced on the 17th that it will introduce four types of the canned cocktail ‘Cutwater’ to the domestic market. ‘Cutwater’ is a canned cocktail brand produced by ‘Cutwater Spirits,’ a distillery located in San Diego, California, USA. It is perfect for consumers who want to conveniently enjoy cocktails in canned form outside of bars, offering a variety of flavors and aromas.
‘Cutwater’ has been recognized for its excellent quality at various international competitions, including being selected as the brand with the most awards at the prestigious ‘San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SWSC) 2021.’
The four ‘Cutwater’ products introduced by OB Beer in Korea are ‘Tiki Rum Mai Tai,’ ‘Lime Tequila Margarita,’ ‘Vodka Soda Grapefruit,’ and ‘Vodka Soda Lime.’ The ‘Tiki Rum Mai Tai’ features a flavor where the scents of coconut and pineapple blend smoothly with rum. The ‘Lime Tequila Margarita,’ which combines the unique aroma of tequila with refreshing lemon, offers a pleasant flavor and can be enjoyed even more smoothly with ice. The alcohol content of the rum and tequila products is 12.5%, while both vodka soda varieties have 5%. The four types of ‘Cutwater’ can be found at major supermarkets nationwide and at Wine & More stores.
Meanwhile, to celebrate the launch of ‘Cutwater,’ OB Beer is operating a brand pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, until the 29th. The pop-up store, themed around the excitement of traveling in the city, offers various on-site events and canned cocktail tasting opportunities for visitors.
