The "Safety Culture Expansion Contest" is a project by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency that supports industrial accident prevention activities through private organizations such as labor and management groups, for-profit organizations, and broadcasters.
This year, 49 organizations are carrying out various projects to promote safety culture.
At the presentation contest, six organizations that advanced to the finals, having conducted contest projects last year and this year, showcased creative and effective activity cases aimed at reducing fatal accidents and spreading safety culture.
The grand prize, the Minister of Employment and Labor Award, went to "YTN Radio." This program contributed to raising safety awareness by continuously exposing various content, including one-minute industrial safety information, through a broadcasting platform.
The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Chairman’s Award (Excellence Award) was awarded to the "Ulsan Industrial Complex Safety Association" and the "Korea Paper Association."
The on-site event video can be viewed on the Agency’s YouTube channel, and other event-related information is provided through the Industrial Safety and Health Emphasis Week website.
