[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Maeil Dairies launched new products of its home meal replacement (HMR) specialty brand ‘Sangha Kitchen’ on the 16th, announced on the 15th.

The new products include two types: 'Potato Cream Soup' and 'Butter Chicken Curry.' They come in pouch-type packaging, making them convenient meals that only require opening the package and heating in a microwave. They use Maeil U Cream, Sangha natural cheese, and direct-fire roasted aged curry, among other ingredients.

The Potato Cream Soup contains large potato cubes combined with ricotta natural cheese. Based on consumer research showing that soup drinkers prefer satiety and chunky ingredients, it includes abundant potato cubes.

The Butter Chicken Curry is prepared by direct-fire roasting aged curry powder in a cauldron. It achieves a smooth yet tangy flavor with savory butter and tomatoes.

To commemorate the launch, Maeil Dairies is holding an event on its Naver brand store where customers who purchase a 6-pack of Sangha Kitchen Butter Chicken Curry will receive instant rice, and those who purchase a 9-pack of Sangha Kitchen Potato Cream Soup will receive a soup bowl as a gift.

Meanwhile, Sangha Kitchen is a home meal replacement brand that pursues slow food that the whole family can safely enjoy.
