[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Hansome, a fashion specialist company affiliated with Hyundai Department Store Group, announced on the 16th that it will showcase a collaboration collection with Hyundai Department Store's character 'Heundi' at its imported clothing select shop Tom Greyhound.
Heundi is a character developed by Hyundai Department Store in collaboration with German illustrator Christoph Niemann. Christoph Niemann is an artist who has received multiple awards from the prestigious New York Art Directors Club Award in the design world, recognized for his artistic quality and originality.
This collection was produced by Chinti and Parker, the UK's top luxury cashmere brand, which is stocked at the Tom Greyhound select shop. A Hansome official explained, "We created the lovable and cute Heundi character applying Chinti and Parker's unique patterns and colors."
The collection consists of a total of six models: knitwear (2 models), hooded T-shirts (2 models), turtleneck (1 model), and pants (1 model). Representative products include a cashmere-wool blend knit with the Heundi character engraved on the front using the intarsia technique (meaning piecing together), a comfortable oversized silhouette turtleneck, and a hooded T-shirt featuring the Heundi character on the front and side color-blocking lines as a point. Prices are in the 400,000 KRW range and are available for purchase at Hyundai Department Store Apgujeong Main Store, Trade Center Store, and Pangyo Store.
