[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Actor Kim Ji-hoon apologized after controversy arose over his illegal downloading of an American drama.


On the afternoon of the 11th, Kim Ji-hoon stated through his agency, "I apologize for causing discomfort to viewers during the MBC program 'I Live Alone' aired on the 6th."


Kim Ji-hoon said, "As an actor, I deeply apologize for not properly recognizing copyright and acting accordingly. I will strive to be a more cautious actor in the future."


Earlier, Kim Ji-hoon was shown watching the American drama Raised by Wolves on 'I Live Alone.' This drama is not officially available in Korea.


Kim Ji-hoon was suspected of illegal downloading as he was watching the drama with Korean subtitles provided.
