[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Lezhin Entertainment announced on the 6th that the Lezhin webtoon 'Watch Guy' won the grand prize in the Comics/Webtoon category at the 2020 SF Awards.

The SF Awards, established in 2014 to promote the development of SF content, is a representative domestic SF creative content award. Organized by the National Gwacheon Science Museum and the Korean SF Awards Operating Committee, it selects and awards outstanding works in five categories: comics/webtoons, web novels, full-length novels, short and medium-length novels, and videos.

'Watch Guy' is a webtoon centered on three high school students who can stop time and sense it. It is a work created by Masatoki, a beloved author known for the World’s Best Series, together with ASURA.

Masatoki said, "It is an honor just to be nominated alongside such outstanding works, and I am happy to have won the award," adding, "I want to finish the remaining episodes well so as not to be ashamed of this award."

Meanwhile, Lezhin, which has produced five award-winning works at the SF Awards, offers not only 'Watch Guy' but also past SF Award-winning works such as 'Mosquito War,' 'Odyssey,' 'Paranoid Android,' and 'Unknown Code.'
