Hansung University Holds Online Social Service Course Operation Performance Sharing Meeting

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Hansung University Social Service Center announced on the 19th that it held a performance sharing meeting for non-face-to-face and home-based volunteer activities during the first semester in collaboration with the university's Sangsang Liberal Arts College Social Service Regional Network. Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), volunteer activities were conducted non-face-to-face, contrary to the original design of the social service curriculum. Non-face-to-face volunteer activities included writing positive comments, inputting books for the visually impaired, making hygiene and education kits or good toys, while face-to-face activities maintaining social distancing included blood donation and delivering lunch boxes to elderly living alone. Hansung University plans to further expand social service opportunities in the second semester together with local communities and related organizations.
