The promotion was organized to raise awareness of the need to wear Seresto, which prevents tick infection in companion dogs and also blocks the transmission route from dogs to humans, amid growing concerns about SFTS (Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome), which has recently become an issue due to cluster infections among medical staff, and to provide purchase benefits.

Seresto is a collar-type tick prevention product that protects companion dogs from external parasites such as ticks and fleas. The active ingredient is not absorbed into the bloodstream but is continuously distributed in the skin lipid layer in the necessary amount, forming a protective barrier over the entire skin to prevent tick bites. Its effect lasts up to 8 months, making it safe and convenient, and it is available for purchase at veterinary clinics and online.

SFTS, a representative vector-borne disease transmitted by ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis), causes symptoms such as high fever, loss of appetite, lethargy, lymph node enlargement, weight loss, and joint pain, and can be fatal in severe cases. It can be transmitted from infected dogs or cats to humans, so it is important to prevent companion dogs from being bitten by ticks in the first place.
