[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Singer Song Ga-in's side clarified that "Song Ga-in and her fan cafe Again have no political affiliations or connections with any specific political party" in response to rumors about supporting a particular party.


On the 13th, Song Ga-in's official fan cafe 'Again' issued a statement on her political neutrality, saying, "The politically related posts and photos currently circulating on various social network services (SNS) and YouTube regarding Song Ga-in do not represent any expression of support."


Previously, Song Ga-in was embroiled in rumors of supporting the Democratic Party of Korea after sending a signed CD to a Democratic Party politician and appearing in a voter encouragement campaign video wearing blue-toned clothing reminiscent of the Democratic Party's colors.


In response, Song Ga-in's side explained, "The politician is a fan of Ga-in, so the photo was taken upon request," adding, "This does not indicate any expression of support."


They also added, "The blue outfit is a color Ga-in usually enjoys wearing and has no particular meaning."


Finally, they stated, "We clearly inform you that Song Ga-in and Again have no political affiliations or connections with any specific political party," and urged, "We ask members not to be disturbed by these rumors."
