On the 25th, Kim Yubin's father said in an interview with a media outlet, "Kim Yubin posted a reckless message without fully understanding the story related to the 'Nth Room Case,'" adding, "Currently, the child is suffering due to 'doxxing.' Earlier, Kim Yubin's mother also expressed her apology through direct messages on social networking services (SNS).
Kim Yubin's mother said, "I thought such a post was inappropriate and told him to take it down immediately after reprimanding him," adding, "This is not about defending my son, but he is still being reprimanded at this moment and trying to correct his mistakes. We will properly educate him at home and ensure that no further harm comes to the victims."
She continued, "I have been working hard day and night to raise my child well, but this incident has been very difficult," and added, "I hope that only personal information will be taken down as he will continue to make efforts and reflect on his actions."
