Wireless Vacuum Cleaner LG CordZero A9 Receives High Praise from Overseas Consumers for Specialized Technology

LG Electronics' premium cordless vacuum cleaner, ‘LG CordZero A9,’ is gaining attention in the global cordless vacuum cleaner market by receiving high praise not only from domestic but also overseas consumers and major media for its specialized technology.

In fact, Costco consumers who gave this product a perfect score of 5 points commented, “It is functionally convenient, has a long battery life, and the suction power is also strong,” and “There is no need to keep pressing the power button to operate it, and it was convenient to use regardless of the floor material such as carpet or wooden floors.”

Currently, the LG CordZero A9 cordless vacuum cleaner is being sold at the leading U.S. retail chain Costco Wholesale Co., and as of March 2020, it received a perfect 5-point rating from about 800 out of more than 1,000 consumer reviews.

Additionally, since its full-scale entry into the U.S. market last year, the LG CordZero A9 has received positive evaluations not only from actual buyers but also from professional consumer media. Consumer Reports, an authoritative monthly magazine published by the U.S. Consumer Union, rated this product last year as an “excellent vacuum cleaner that handles major cleaning tasks well.”

The publication also gave the LG CordZero A9 a perfect score of 5 points in six categories including carpet cleaning, bare floor cleaning, and corner cleaning, selecting it as the No. 1 product in the ‘stick-type lightweight product’ category.

Before entering the global market, the LG CordZero A9 launched the ‘Power Drive Mop,’ a dedicated mop suction nozzle, which has also received positive responses from consumers in the domestic cordless vacuum cleaner market. Using the Power Drive Mop suction nozzle allows simultaneous mopping and dust suction, enabling thorough cleaning without having to operate the vacuum multiple times.

In particular, the automatic water supply system is applied, so there is no need to worry about re-wetting the mop during cleaning, allowing for convenient use. Also, with a 5-stage fine dust blocking system applied, the product blocks fine dust particles sized 0.5 to 4.2 μm with an average efficiency of 99.999%, earning an Excellent grade (top grade 5Star) certification from Germany’s SLG, making it safe to use without concerns about indoor air quality.

An LG Electronics official said, “Although the LG CordZero A9 has not been in the global market for long, it is receiving good evaluations from many consumers and major media,” adding, “We will continue to lead the global premium cordless vacuum cleaner market based on LG Electronics’ differentiated technology.”
