Lotte Department Store will build a 17-meter-tall British-style clock tower and open a Christmas market at the outdoor lawn plaza of World Park in Jamsil. This year, the event will recreate the atmosphere of a European winter street with the theme of 19th-century Christmas markets in Britain.
Lotte Department Store said on November 8 that it will operate the "2026 Lotte Town Christmas Market" for 46 days, from November 19 through January 3, 2027. Now in its fourth year, the event has drawn more than 1.1 million visitors in total through last year.
This year, an 800-pyeong space will be decorated in the architectural style of the British Victorian era, with red brick walls and arched windows. A large clock tower, a Christmas tree, and a two-story carousel will be installed, and orchestral Christmas carols will be played. This is the first year the market has been organized around country-specific themes.
Around 40 booths will offer food and shopping. About half of all booths will be food and beverage outlets. Offerings will include British-style dishes such as rotisserie chicken and fish and chips, as well as food from Pajak, Gimbap Daejang, and Muki, a Michelin-starred restaurant. The market will also feature collaborative spaces from Lotte Group affiliates, including Lotte Wellfood's "Kancho Detective House" and Lotte Home Shopping's "Bellygom Take Station," as well as pop-ups by Pop Mart and "K-Pop Demon Hunters."
Every evening, a media performance called "Christmas Time Show" will take place on the hour starting at 6 p.m. Live performances of Christmas carols and musical numbers will also be held on weekends and Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve, the event will feature a preview performance of the musical "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."
Advance reservations for admission tickets will open at 2 p.m. on November 9 through Lotte Department Store Mall and Naver Reservations. Fast-pass tickets, which allow immediate entry, include two 5,000-won discount coupons, while general reservation tickets are free and require visitors to wait on-site before entering. Tickets for December will be available to reserve starting November 20, while year-end tickets will be available starting December 7.

Park Sangwoo, head of marketing at Lotte Department Store, said, "This year's Lotte Town Christmas Market will take the 19th-century Christmas markets in Britain, which gave rise to modern Christmas markets, as its theme, offering a much richer mix of things to see and do. Going forward, Lotte Town Christmas Market will continue to strengthen its position as a year-end festival that everyone looks forward to, combining distinctive themes from different countries with the unique synergy of Lotte Town."
