KBIZ to Recruit New Employees for 2027, Increase Hiring by 30%
Recruiting 26 New Employees; Applications Accepted November 13-27
Job Competency Assessment Added to Written Exam... IT Certifications Preferred
The Korea Federation of SMEs (KBIZ) announced on November 8 that it will openly recruit 26 new employees (Grade 5) for 2027.
To create jobs for young people, KBIZ increased this year's hiring target by 30%, from 20 to 26. It plans to focus on finding candidates with the job-specific competencies and practical skills needed in the age of AI.
For the written examination, KBIZ will introduce a "Job Competency Assessment" in place of the essay test and add an elective subject. Applicants may choose one subject from either business administration and economics or digital and industrial technology. The change is intended to broadly assess the abilities of applicants with diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
Preferred certifications will also be expanded to include IT fields, such as Information Processing Engineer and Big Data Analyst. Bonus points for up to two certifications will be combined. The aim is to recognize applicants' diverse professional strengths and strengthen hiring centered on practical skills.
The recruitment field is general administration, and anyone may apply as long as they do not fall under any disqualifying conditions stipulated in KBIZ's personnel regulations.
Recruitment will be conducted through a regular employee (Grade 5) internship program linked to permanent employment. Those selected will complete an approximately 11-week, practice-oriented internship in an operating department. Candidates with outstanding evaluation results will be hired as regular employees in May 2027.
Applications will be accepted from November 13 to 27. Further details are available on the dedicated KBIZ recruitment website and the KBIZ website.
