KleanNara said on November 6 that it is offering different AI training programs tailored to the work and roles at its headquarters and Cheongju plant. The company is creating a data-driven work environment and identifying and developing automation projects led by employees in the field.

At its headquarters, KleanNara is focusing on improving employees' understanding of AI and cultivating personnel who can lead the organization's AI transformation through its "AI Change Agent Training" program. The training held in October focused on building practical skills so employees could understand AI technologies and their potential applications, apply them to their work, and lead change within the organization. The company plans to hold the second and third rounds of training in November and December, expanding participation and continuing to develop employees who can drive the spread of AI-driven change across the organization.

At its Cheongju plant, KleanNara has been offering "Practical AI Development Training Tailored to On-Site Needs," in which employees develop automation tools themselves to improve work in manufacturing areas such as production, materials and inventory management, and quality control. The program is designed to let participants practice the entire process, from project planning through development, testing, and demonstration, even without prior coding experience.

The first round of training concluded in August, with seven teams from the Cheongju plant completing the four-week program. Participants identified and completed development of a total of 15 automation tools across six work areas, including production, materials and inventory management, logistics, quality, productivity analysis, and equipment maintenance. In October, employees from five teams developed a total of seven automation tools.

Employees have laid the groundwork for automating work by identifying and solving problems on the factory floor themselves. The tools cover a broad range of on-site work, from production and inventory management to quality and productivity analysis. Examples include managing inventory, materials, and production and converting barcodes; managing quality histories and automatically issuing inspection certificates; dashboards for forecasting inventory based on inbound and outbound data; and analyzing productivity by day and product. These tools have digitized work processes that relied on manual tasks and made it possible to manage and analyze distributed data systematically.

KleanNara plans to register the automation tools developed at its Cheongju plant on its AI platform so employees can use them in their work, and to further expand the results of its field-centered AI transformation.

A KleanNara representative said, "AI transformation is not just about adopting technology; it is important to ensure employees understand it and can apply it in their actual work. We will continue to provide AI training tailored to the work at our headquarters and manufacturing sites, and connect improvement projects identified by employees themselves to work automation and data use to strengthen the foundation for company-wide AI transformation."
