Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation Expands Ijiwon Services from Guarantees to Business Diagnostics and Education...
Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation has upgraded its non-face-to-face guarantee application app, Ijiwon, expanding its support services to include post-guarantee management, business diagnostics, and online education. Rather than stopping at providing financial support, the foundation has linked financial and non-financial services so businesses can assess their management status, strengthen their business capabilities, and continue to grow.
The foundation said it had upgraded the Ijiwon app and linked services for checking guarantee details, handling follow-up processes such as guarantee term extensions and refinancing guarantees, conducting self-assessments of business management, and accessing online education.
Even after securing funds, businesses that use guarantees need to check their guarantee expiration dates and usage history and consider options such as extending the guarantee term or obtaining a refinancing guarantee based on their business conditions. It is also important to assess their management status, including sales and expenses, and learn practical skills needed to run their businesses. In response to these needs, the foundation has made financial support and business management services available on a single platform before and after businesses use its guarantees.
Customers can check their guarantee details and application progress on the My Page section of the Ijiwon app. Depending on eligibility and requirements, they can also handle post-guarantee processes, such as term extensions and refinancing guarantees, remotely without visiting a branch. The app has been made more convenient, allowing customers to manage not only guarantee applications but also the follow-up processes needed while using a guarantee.
The foundation has also introduced a self-assessment service that allows businesses to check their own management status. When a sole proprietor who is the business's sole representative consents to having their information checked, they can receive an assessment of their business's management status without entering any additional information. The results are provided in a report after analysis by Korea Rating & Data, an external professional organization.
Businesses can use the report to objectively review their current management status and consider the direction of their future operations. The foundation expects the service to be widely used because businesses can assess their management status whenever they need to, not only when they receive guarantee consultations.
The foundation has also linked G-Campus, an online education platform for strengthening practical skills, to the Ijiwon app. It offers a variety of free practical courses on topics such as starting a business, marketing, and tax matters, which are essential to the operations of small and medium-sized businesses and small business owners. Since users can study regardless of time or place without visiting a separate training venue, the platform is expected to help business owners balance their work and education.
The foundation is strengthening connections among its services so users can access everything in one place, from checking guarantee details and handling follow-up processes to business diagnostics and education. It plans to continue enhancing its financial and non-financial services so that financial support also helps businesses improve their management and strengthen their capabilities.

“The foundation's role is not only to provide the funds businesses need through guarantees, but also to help them continue operating steadily,” said Si Seokjung, chairman of the foundation. “We will connect information, education, and support services that businesses need so Ijiwon can remain useful to them even after they receive a guarantee.”
