Mr. Blue to Hold 'Black Friday' Sale at Online Merchandise Shop... "Expects Sales Growth"
Mr. Blue, a platform specializing in webtoons and web novels, announced on November 5 that it will hold a special Black Friday sale at its online merchandise shop.
Mr. Blue planned the event to turn new readers drawn to the platform by growing public interest in the Boys' Love (BL) genre into intellectual property (IP) fans, while offering benefits to existing readers. The company plans to expand the ways fans can experience its IP through merchandise, beyond simply enjoying its works, and increase merchandise sales.
The sale will begin at 4 p.m. on November 6 at Mr. Blue's official online merchandise shop. Popular merchandise released over the past three years will be offered at discounts of up to 90%. Sold-out items will also be restocked and made available for purchase.
The recently concluded sales of the "2027 Mr. Blue Season's Greetings: Blooming Hotel" achieved sales 145% higher than the previous year. The company plans to hold a second round of sales at the end of the year and diversify its IP business revenue model by operating pop-up stores and planning next year's merchandise lineup.
