Nvidia Finalizes 1.3 Trillion Won Investment in Naver, Securing 4.13% Stake
For the joint AI factory construction project between the two companies
Naver corrected its disclosure on Tuesday, stating that the won-denominated amount raised through Nvidia's $1 billion investment has been finalized at 1.3412 trillion won.
Nvidia will acquire 6,558,435 newly issued Naver shares at 204,500 won per share.
Once payment is completed on November 6, Nvidia will hold approximately 4.13% of Naver.
Compared with the previous provisional figures, the won-denominated investment amount decreased by approximately 139.7 billion won, and the number of new shares decreased by approximately 680,000.
This reflects exchange rate fluctuations; the investment amount in U.S. dollars remains unchanged.
The investment is for a joint project by Naver and Nvidia to build global AI (artificial intelligence) factories.
