This collaboration is part of the “Establishment of a Cooperation Framework for Physical AI Standardization,” an initiative being pursued primarily by the governance subcommittee of the Physical AI Alliance, a private-sector-led partnership established by the Ministry of Science and ICT to foster a Physical AI ecosystem.

The two organizations will work together to establish standardized structures that can be repeatedly applied across different manufacturing environments, along with a stable operational foundation, and to bring technological achievements from the research and demonstration stages to industrial sites.

They plan to invigorate the Physical AI industry ecosystem by standardizing practices among component, equipment, AI and data companies; developing joint business models and specifying collaborative projects; and cooperating on global expansion.

Drawing on its AI and cloud deployment and operations capabilities, MegazoneCloud will pursue the application of Kairos 37, a robot orchestration platform developed by KAIST, at industrial sites. The two organizations’ working group will identify promising areas for application, collaboration projects and the specific roles of participating companies. They will also establish a phased cooperation framework spanning technology validation, commercialization and overseas expansion.

“By combining the industrial experience we have accumulated across more than 8,000 companies with the capabilities of our more than 2,800 AI and AX professionals, MegazoneCloud will actively support the successful adoption of Physical AI technology at industrial sites and help it create tangible value,” said Lee Juhwan, chairman of MegazoneCloud.
