Hyundai Motor to Expand Large, Premium Service Centers to 30 Locations, Enhancing Maintenance Convenience
From 17 Locations Today to 30 by 2029
A Differentiated Experience Through Large, Premium Service Centers
Hyundai Motor is expanding its network of large, premium service centers nationwide to improve the vehicle maintenance experience for its customers.
Hyundai Motor said on November 3 that it has completed the establishment of 17 Grand Bluehands locations nationwide, including Indeogwon Hyundai Service, which recently opened in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, and plans to expand the network to a total of 30 locations by 2029.
Grand Bluehands is a network of large, premium service centers that Hyundai Motor is developing by using existing Bluehands facilities or adding new locations to improve maintenance conditions and customer convenience and provide a differentiated service experience.
These centers are characterized by their larger sites than those of regular Bluehands locations, state-of-the-art maintenance facilities, comfortable customer amenities, and wide range of maintenance services.
Grand Bluehands provides services tailored to the characteristics of the Hyundai Motor and Genesis brands. Depending on the facility layout, each center operates in one of two formats: integrated or separate.
In the integrated format, customer lounges and maintenance areas for Hyundai Motor and Genesis are set up separately within a single building. In the separate format, dedicated buildings are constructed for each brand, with services provided in separate spaces from vehicle intake through maintenance.
Indeogwon Hyundai Service, which recently opened, is a separate-format Grand Bluehands location with dedicated buildings for Hyundai Motor and Genesis.
With the opening of Indeogwon Hyundai Service, Hyundai Motor now has 17 Grand Bluehands locations across major regions nationwide: seven in the Seoul metropolitan area, four in the Honam region, three in the Chungcheong region, two in the Gyeongsang region, and one in the Gangwon region.
Hyundai Motor plans to continue expanding Grand Bluehands, focusing on areas with gaps in its service network, to improve customer access, and aims to complete the establishment of 30 locations nationwide by 2029.
