The delegation included the Gangseo-gu Public Health Center and medical institutions affiliated with the Gangseo Miracle Medi Special Zone Council: Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital (serious diseases), Wooridul Hospital (spine), SNU Seoul Hospital (joints), MizMedi Hospital (women’s health), Magok Cha Women’s Clinic (infertility), Abijou Clinic (skin), and Yonsei Hill Dental Hospital (dentistry).
Over four days, the delegation held 156 consultations and signed five business agreements. It is pursuing eight contracts and confirmed appointments for two patients to receive treatment in Korea.
Most of the results came from a medical tourism consultation event held on the afternoon of Oct. 27. Five business agreements were signed at the event, which was attended by representatives of 46 local companies and patients. Abijou Clinic confirmed appointments on-site for two local patients. SNU Seoul Hospital is pursuing seven additional contracts, while Magok Cha Women’s Clinic held individual consultations, taking into account strong local demand for infertility treatment.
The delegation also visited Mongolian Hyundai Hospital and Mongolia’s Second Hospital, a regional hub, to assess the local medical environment. It also discussed ways to cooperate with Say Korea LLC, a local agency that attracts medical tourists.
