Recreation, busking performances, a cotton candy performance, campfire gatherings, and a movie screening added to the fun of the autumn evening.
The "Illustrated General Store" booth, which featured a stronger artistic focus this year, proved especially popular. Participants chose items they wanted, drew on them, and took home the finished pieces, attracting considerable interest.
Newly created spaces for visitors of different ages also received a warm response, including a sand playground, an Indian-style tent for drawing, an outdoor library in the forest, and tarot readings.
Yang Gyeongsun, head of the Culture and Arts Division at Gwangyang City, who attended the event, said, "It was memorable to see residents enjoying themselves under the clear autumn sky. We will continue working to help residents enjoy culture and the arts in their daily lives and feel proud of their community."
Jo Juhyeon, head of Sarasil Art Village, said, "With each edition, Art Camping is establishing itself as a signature program that draws attention from both within and outside the region. This year, we put considerable effort into the planning to reflect the village's artistic identity and give participants the opportunity to express their artistic sensibilities and creativity freely."
