Yeongcheon Mayor Kim Byeong-sam said he hopes the performance will offer an opportunity to reflect on the sages’ noble spirit and move toward a bold future.
Meanwhile, on November 1, the fifth “Emotional Healing Farm Picnic with Geumjjogi” was held to great acclaim in the auditorium at Korea Polytechnics Robot Campus.
About 180 people from 60 families took part in the event, organized by the Yeongcheon City chapter of the Association for Having More Children. They enjoyed making pizza and naturally dyed handkerchiefs, as well as a family sports day, and spent meaningful time connecting with one another.
Also, Imgo-myeon, headed by chief Kim Chang-mok, held a “Wildfire Prevention and Prayer for Residents’ Well-Being” ceremony at Imgo Seowon on October 31, attended by about 40 people from local organizations and wildfire response teams.
