Geumcheon District Mayor Choi Kichan Visits an Outdoor Library in an Autumn Park
Geumcheon District's "Chaekinneun Chaekdalsaem" to operate through November 1
Choi Kichan, mayor of Seoul's Geumcheon District, visited the outdoor library "Chaekinneun Chaekdalsaem" at Geumnarae Central Park on October 30 and looked around the site before opening a book.
The outdoor library, set up by Geumcheon District to let residents enjoy autumn with books in the park, will wrap up operations on November 1. Anyone can read the books on site without borrowing them or registering as a member. Beanbags, camping chairs and parasols were placed throughout the park, and a separate "Chaekmeong Zone" was set up for visitors to read quietly or lose themselves in thought.
