Did not mention specific plans or a timeline for ending the war
U.S. President Donald Trump said on October 30 (local time) that he expects the war with Iran to end soon.
According to foreign media reports, Trump said during an interview about the war with Iran on KCMO radio in Kansas City, Missouri, that day, “It will be over soon,” adding, “We need a guarantee that they will never have nuclear weapons.”
Trump did not mention specific plans or a timeline for ending the war.
Trump has said that he would not attack Iran before the U.S. midterm elections on November 3.
Trump has also hinted several times that he could launch a major attack on Iran after the midterm elections. In fact, the U.S. military recently deployed additional air defense systems and ammunition to the Middle East and moved some troops away from bases vulnerable to Iranian retaliatory attacks.
