Hwasun County to Offer Meokkkaebi Discounts Every Wednesday Starting in November
Benefits for purchases of KRW 15,000 or more from November through December
Can be used up to twice a day and combined with other coupons
Starting in November, customers who use the public delivery app Meokkkaebi every Wednesday are expected to receive a discount of about KRW 2,000.
Hwasun County announced on October 30 that it will run its “Meokkkaebi Day” event from November 4 to December 31 to boost sales for local small businesses and encourage use of the public delivery app. However, the event may end earlier than scheduled if the budget runs out.
Discount coupons can be used up to twice a day. There is no separate limit on the total number of uses during the event, so customers can receive the benefit every Wednesday. The coupons can be used with other discount coupons, and payment with the mobile Hwasun Love Gift Certificate is also accepted.
Choi Hyunjin, head of the Civil Economy Division, said, “We hope this event will ease the burden on county residents when ordering delivery food and lead to increased sales for small businesses.”
