At around 7 a.m. on October 30, a robot handed out a drink as visitors entered the model home for Namchuncheon Centerville, which opened in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. When visitors ordered orange juice and coffee by tapping a screen, the robot moved back and forth across the kitchen, preparing three drinks in succession. The robot will serve as a barista at the 39th-floor sky lounge, welcoming residents around the clock.
KT estate, the real estate arm of the KT Group, is offering Namchuncheon Centerville for sale in the Hyoja-dong area of Chuncheon. It is the first new housing supply in four years in Hyoja-dong, considered a major transportation hub because it is close to ITX Namchuncheon Station and Chuncheon Express Bus Terminal. With a rare high-rise sky lounge in Chuncheon set to be included among its community facilities, the complex is drawing attention in the housing subscription market.

The model home visited that day featured 84A- and 84B-type units. The 84A type has a four-bay, slab-style layout designed to allow cross-ventilation and natural light. The tower-style units have windows on two sides, creating an open layout. Each unit also comes with a pantry and dressing room at no extra cost, making storage more convenient.

In the 84A type, a 2.45-meter-high tray ceiling can be installed separately in the kitchen and living room. Visitors entering the unit that day looked up at the ceiling, remarking, "It feels so open and spacious."
Visitors lingered longest at the community facilities display. The space recreates "CLOUD 9," a sky lounge on the complex's top, 39th floor. A digital display lets visitors get a preview of the views of Uiamho Lake and downtown Chuncheon from the community space. The lounge will also include a guesthouse and a fitness center equipped with exercise machines from Technogym, a premium fitness brand. It can also be used as a 24-hour cafe, with a barista robot preparing drinks at any time.

The market is watching the complex's sale prices and location. The Namchuncheon Station intersection, where Namchuncheon Centerville is being built, is a 15-minute walk from Namchuncheon Station and Chuncheon Intercity Bus Terminal. It is also close to Chuncheon IC, making it a well-connected location. The highest listed price is 465.13 million won for a 59-square-meter unit and 629.94 million won for an 84-square-meter unit. The sale price is not considered significantly high, given that an 84-square-meter unit in Ssangyong The Platinum Sky, a mixed-use complex offered for sale in 2023, was priced at 636.8 million won. The price is also relatively low compared with the recent transaction price of 780 million won for a unit of the same size at Chuncheon Central Park Prugio, considered Chuncheon's flagship complex.
