39 Young Aviation Professionals Graduate as Air Busan's Dream Campus Marks Its Sixth Year
Hands-on Training and Advanced Courses in Cabin Services, Flight Operations, and Maintenance
Air Busan graduated 39 participants this year through an educational program that gives young people in the region hands-on experience in the aviation industry.
Air Busan, led by CEO Jeong Byeongseop, held a completion ceremony for its aviation workforce training program, "Dream Campus," at its headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Busan, on the morning of October 30.
This year, Dream Campus was run in general-track first and second sessions, as well as advanced flight operations and maintenance courses. Participants were assigned to departments in key job areas, including cabin services, flight operations, maintenance, and general administration (management and sales), where they worked alongside employees to deepen their understanding of the aviation industry.
This year, the program introduced pre-course job training to help participants better understand their roles before beginning hands-on training. It also expanded and revamped flight operations training from the previous two months to a three-month advanced course, strengthening the program's expertise and practical focus.
Launched in 2021, Dream Campus is now in its sixth year. It is Air Busan's flagship educational outreach program, run in cooperation with Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency. The program helps young people seeking careers in aviation gain experience in a real-world work environment, deepen their understanding of the field, and develop concrete career plans.
Jeong Junyoung, a graduate of the advanced maintenance course, said, "Working alongside experienced employees gave me a deeper understanding of aviation jobs, and I'm delighted to feel that I've taken one step closer to my dream."
