NAVER to Host “Neppesta” in Seongsu, Strengthen Online and Offline Membership Ecosystem
First Festival Combining Performances and Brand Experiences Held
NAVER will hold its offline festival, “Neppesta,” at Anderson C Seongsu from October 30 through November 1, seeking to strengthen its online and offline membership ecosystem.
“Neppesta” is a cultural event where visitors can experience NAVER’s diverse technologies, including access authentication, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and payments, while also enjoying brand experiences, special merchandise, and artist performances. Presale tickets for NAVER Plus Membership users who had spent at least 200,000 won through Naver Pay (Npay) drew such strong interest that all 3,000 tickets sold out in 40 minutes.
To mark the NAVER-Netflix partnership, the event will feature a history zone showcasing campaign activities from the past two years and a photo zone with popular characters. A limited-edition souvenir giveaway will also be held for Netflix users with NAVER Plus Membership.
At the showroom for “Knockit,” NAVER’s contemporary fashion brand service launched in April last year, visitors can try on new items from popular fashion brands and purchase them online. More than 50 popular brands across categories including food, beauty, and home and living will showcase their products and merchandise in one place, including “NAVER Only” products co-developed by NAVER and the brands from the planning stage.
Visitors to “Neppesta” can enter the venue easily using “FaceSign,” Npay’s facial recognition access and authentication service, without presenting a separate form of identification. Collecting NFTs from each booth through the Npay Wallet will earn visitors prizes such as Npay points.
“Matdongyeojido,” NAVER’s local restaurant curation promotion, which selects and introduces popular restaurants in different regions each month, will also run in Seoul’s Seongsu area, where Neppesta is being held, through November 11.
