Nara Cellar Launches E-Mart-Exclusive Wine
Montes Alpha Aurum Cabernet Sauvignon
Nara Cellar is launching an E-Mart-exclusive wine from Chilean winery Montes, tailored to the tastes of Korean consumers.
Nara Cellar announced on October 30 that it will introduce Montes Alpha Aurum Cabernet Sauvignon, available exclusively at E-Mart. The wine is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, aged for 12 months in French oak.
"Aurum" means "gold" in Latin. The name reflects the bright, abundant energy symbolized by E-Mart's signature yellow and gold colors. Combining E-Mart's familiar brand value with Montes' winemaking expertise, the wine is designed to be enjoyed on a range of occasions, from everyday meals to special gatherings.
The new wine is made with grapes grown at a single vineyard in Apalta (D.O. Apalta), in Chile's Colchagua Valley, one of Montes' key grape-growing regions. It features complex aromas and delicate tannins shaped by Apalta's distinctive terroir. Its deep ruby-red color has violet hues, and its aromas combine ripe dark fruits such as plum, blackberry and blackcurrant with notes of graphite, spice, vanilla and cocoa.
