If the strike goes ahead, service on 39 metropolitan and city bus routes, involving 207 buses, is expected to be disrupted.
Hwaseong City plans to deploy 22 chartered buses during morning rush hour and operate six alternative routes connecting major transportation hubs, including Eocheon Station and Banwol Station.
The city will also operate two alternative routes connecting Dongtan 2 New Town and Byeongjeom Station using public buses run by Hwaseong City Corporation. It plans to deploy reserve buses on some routes not participating in the strike to increase the number of services.
If the strike begins, the city will activate its emergency transportation headquarters to monitor bus operations around the clock. Staff will be stationed at 30 major bus stops to provide information on service disruptions and alternative transportation options.
Hwaseong City is posting strike notices at bus stops and providing information about routes scheduled to be suspended and alternative transportation options through its website and social media.
