LIG Defense & Aerospace (LIG D&A) said on October 29 that it had discussed defense cooperation with Croatia, including the establishment of a multilayer air defense network.

View original imageCroatian Economy Minister Ante Susnjar visited LIG D&A’s research and development (R&D) center at LIG D&A Pangyo House on October 28, where he reviewed key air defense systems and discussed cooperation between defense companies in the two countries.
LIG D&A introduced multilayer air defense solutions tailored to Croatia’s security environment. The company explained its capabilities in building an integrated air defense system that can respond to threats from low to high altitudes, and expressed its commitment to cooperation in the air defense sector.
Minister Susnjar introduced Croatian defense companies developing advanced technologies, including military communications networks and unmanned systems, and proposed exploring the possibility of technological cooperation and joint projects.
Baek Hyungsik, head of LIG D&A’s overseas business division, said, “We hope our proven multilayer air defense capabilities will contribute to strengthening Croatia’s defense capabilities and protecting its airspace,” adding, “We will expand defense cooperation between the two countries through close collaboration.”
