Samsung Financial Networks Selects 4 AI Fintech Startups, Supports CES Attendance
2026 Samsung Financial C-Lab Outside Final Presentation Held
Samsung Financial Networks (Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Samsung Card, and Samsung Securities) and Samsung Ventures announced that they selected four outstanding startups at the final presentation for the 2026 Samsung Financial C-Lab Outside program, held on October 28 at Samsung Financial Campus.
Samsung Financial C-Lab Outside is Samsung Financial Networks' flagship open innovation program, which aims to drive innovation in the financial industry through collaboration with startups under the slogan, "Bringing Together Every Possibility for Financial Innovation."
A record 395 startups applied for this year's program, with 17 advancing to the final round. Over approximately five months, the finalists worked with relevant departments at Samsung Financial Networks' affiliates to validate the commercial potential of their businesses and refine their solutions. Following the final review, one outstanding startup was selected for each of the four financial companies.
This year's outstanding startups were Crabs, Telepix, Innovat, and Quantit. Samsung Financial Networks plans to support the selected companies in attending CES, the world's largest IT and consumer electronics show, in the United States next year.
Crabs, selected by Samsung Life Insurance, offers a generative AI-powered video content creation solution. Samsung Life Insurance plans to work with Crabs to strengthen consultants' sales capabilities and improve its system for producing training content.
Telepix, selected by Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, provides an AI-based satellite data analysis platform. The company received high marks for developing solutions that use satellite data to detect facilities during property insurance underwriting and identify subsidence risks at large construction sites.
Innovat, selected by Samsung Card, provides value-added tax refund services for overseas travelers. The company is considering collaborating with Samsung Card to expand the countries where refunds are available and develop differentiated services for monimo customers.
Quantit, selected by Samsung Securities, provides an AI agent-based solution for quantitative investment information. Samsung Securities is considering ways to use the technology in its remote investment advisory service and in investment signal services for customers of monimo, its integrated financial platform.
Han Deokhee, CEO of Quantit, which received Samsung Securities' top award, said, "This collaboration gave us the opportunity to apply our solution across various customer touchpoints at a securities firm. We expect our partnership with Samsung Securities to serve as an important springboard for future growth."
