Naver Pay Beta-Launches "My Store Report," Providing Commercial Area Insights
For food and beverage merchants using the "Npay Connect" terminal
Hourly updates on sales at their stores and in their neighborhoods
Analysis ranging from comparisons with similar businesses to changes in commercial areas
Naver Pay said on Oct. 29 that it had launched the beta version of "Npay biz My Store Report," a service that provides food and beverage merchants with information on business conditions at their own stores and in their neighborhoods, as well as local commercial-area trends.
The service is designed to help merchants who have installed the offline all-in-one terminal "Npay Connect" check business conditions at their stores and in their neighborhoods, analyzed using payment data and other information, and make practical use of the insights in store operations and business growth.
It is available free of charge to any food and beverage merchant who has installed Npay Connect and uses Naver's "Place Plus (place+)." Users can access it by searching for "My Store Report" on Naver or through the Npay biz website.
The service provides information on ▲sales comparisons ▲delivery order trends ▲comparisons with similar businesses ▲changes in commercial areas.
Merchants can first check real-time sales indicators based on Npay Connect terminal data at hourly intervals and compare them with figures from the previous week or daily averages. The service provides information not only about their own stores, but also about their neighborhood, city, county, district, and the country as a whole. In line with the food and beverage sector's high volume of delivery activity, local delivery order information is also provided hourly.
The service also provides comparisons with stores in the same business category within the same commercial area. Merchants can compare weekday and weekend payment counts and average spending per transaction with neighborhood averages and figures for the top 10% of stores. They can also compare sales trends by time of day and day of the week, as well as the age and gender makeup of their main customer groups. Based on this information, merchants can assess their stores' competitiveness and develop marketing and promotional strategies tailored to busy store hours and customer characteristics. They can also track conditions in their commercial areas, including changes in the number of stores in the same business category and sales trends.
Following the beta period, Npay biz My Store Report plans to expand the information it provides so users can examine factors such as customer interest and store competitiveness from various angles and apply the insights to business growth.
