Baemin Revamps "Baemin Order Acceptance PC" to Make Store Management Easier for Merchants
Baemin Self-Service operating metrics and more now available on PC
Settlement details improved, with sales, expenses and deposits shown in order
Baemin announced on October 29 that it will revamp the Baemin Order Acceptance PC app so that merchants on its platform can use all the features of Baemin Self-Service, making it easier for them to manage their stores.
The Order Acceptance PC app is a dedicated program that partners use to receive and process delivery orders. With this revamp, store management metrics previously available through Baemin Self-Service—including the number of new and repeat orders, customer review statistics and settlement details—can be viewed directly on the app’s home screen.
The newly added “Our Store NOW” and “Business Status” buttons let merchants check the operating status of each store and, when needed, temporarily suspend operations at multiple stores at once. Through the “Customer Center” button, they can directly handle issues such as checking rider assignment and pickup status, requesting order cancellations and applying for reimbursement of losses, without speaking to a representative.
New features include a list view that displays multiple orders as cards at a glance, the option to freely add customer notices to receipts, and a test-order feature that lets merchants try out the process in the same order as a real order.
Settlement details are also being improved. Previously, partners’ earnings and expenses were displayed together by order type, mixing positive and negative amounts. The updated screen displays sales, expenses and deposit amounts in that order, with the deposit amount and major expense items summarized at the top.
Discounts and marketing expenses will be itemized separately to show the amounts covered by Baemin and those paid by partners. Detailed transactions can also be viewed separately as sales and expenses, making it easier to check earnings.
The revamped Order Acceptance PC app will be rolled out by device starting November 18, and the improved settlement details screen will be introduced in stages, beginning in Seoul on November 4. Merchants can preview the updated screens in the announcements section of the Baemin Restaurant Business Plaza website.
