Euclidsoft Wins Reward in "Google Chrome Vulnerability Reward Program"
Euclidsoft, an investee company of Fine Technics, received a $250,000 reward through Google's Vulnerability Reward Program (VRP).
According to Euclidsoft on October 29, this achievement is the second case worldwide, following that of global AI security platform XBOW, and the first by a Korean company or institution since Google introduced its Chrome full-chain reward program in 2023. It is also the largest single reward awarded through Google's VRP this year and the second-largest single VRP reward ever.
Google Chrome's "full chain" is considered one of the most challenging security tasks. Going beyond the discovery of a typical single vulnerability, it involves a complex chain of attacks that begins with a vulnerability triggered when a user visits a webpage, breaks through Chrome's multilayered sandbox defenses, and executes code with the highest level of privileges. Google has designated this as one of its most challenging research problems and awards its top prize only for a handful of selected projects each year.
By completing this challenge, Euclidsoft received formal recognition from a global Big Tech company for its foundational software (SW) analysis technology and the reliability of its security and AI systems. Fine Technics plans to advance its next-generation AI platform business by combining Euclidsoft's proven technical expertise with its own display and hardware manufacturing capabilities, while accelerating efforts to create business synergies through technological integration between the two companies and secure new growth drivers.
