It also features a digital aquarium and an interactive content experience area, allowing visitors to enjoy both reading and hands-on activities.
The library offers English-language book reading and lending services, as well as reading programs tailored to different levels. Children can read English picture books and take part in age-appropriate follow-up activities, or develop their English reading and comprehension skills through a step-by-step reading program. New English books on a different theme are also introduced each month.
The library has also prepared hands-on programs, including "Be a Talkie!," which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help children listen to and repeat English, as well as cultural experiences and creative activities related to book themes. It will also run the "Dongbinggo Library Explorers," a program in which children go around the library completing missions. Special lectures by experts in various fields will be offered for parents.
The district will run temporary programs throughout November and begin regular programs in December. Details are available on the Yongsan-gu Public Libraries website or by calling the library at 02-749-4370 to 4371. About 80 people, including District Chief Kim Gyeongdae, guests and local residents, attended the opening ceremony on October 28.
